Concept Life Sciences has developed BioPALS (Biophysical and Active Learning Screening), an innovative, lean and versatile hit identification platform combining AI-powdered virtual screening with cutting-edge biophysical technologies.
BioPALS is underpinned by the MolPAL AI-algorithm which accelerates by several orders of magnitude the structure-based virtual screening of libraries containing over billions of commercial compounds. Virtual hits are confirmed in vitro by a range of orthogonal biophysical techniques including GCI, DSF and ligand-observed NMR.
BioPALS not only enables the rapid identification of high-quality in vitro hits from ultra large compound collections, it also is data rich, providing binding affinities, kinetics and topologies for each hit, as well as their primary ADMET parameters.
This technology is applicable across target classes and therapeutic areas, and was successfully applied to a range of hit identification campaigns, providing up to 70% in-silico/in-vitro confirmation rates.
